Managed Client "Add-on"

MCX has a small assortment of settings that you can control. However, if you add the Managed Client application into the preference manifest, you get control over all sorts of goodies. Here's how:

  1. In WorkGroup Manager, click the WorkGroup you want to manage.
  2. Click the "Preferences" button.
  3. Click the "Details" tab.
  4. Click the "+" button.
  5. Navigate to and add in the following application:
    1. /System/Library/CoreServices/ManagedClient

    You will now see all kinds of new controls that you can manage. Below are some examples.
